2. General
This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and no analytics or advertising services. Fonts and images are our own files and are delivered via our hosting (section 3); no content from other third parties (e.g. Google Fonts, maps, videos) is embedded.
3. Hosting, delivery and server log files
Our website is delivered via the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The domain kap-3.de is currently hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. Its server forwards requests for kap-3.de to our website at Cloudflare (address kap3-neu.kap3.workers.dev).
When you access our pages, both providers process technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, address accessed, referrer, browser and operating system), including in log files. The purpose is to deliver the website and to operate it securely and reliably, including defending against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and error-free provision of the website. We do not use this data for analytics or advertising. The log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for these purposes; the retention periods are set by the providers.
Cloudflare processes the data as a processor under its Data Processing Addendum. Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which an adequacy decision of the European Commission exists (Art. 45 GDPR). Should the certification lapse, the standard contractual clauses in the Data Processing Addendum apply.
Error reports (Network Error Logging): via a response header, Cloudflare asks your browser to report connection errors to Cloudflare (recipient a.nel.cloudflare.com). Such a report contains, for example, the address accessed, the time, the type of error and the IP address of the server. According to Cloudflare, your IP address is only used while the report is processed and is not stored. The purpose is to detect network faults; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Contact by e-mail or phone
If you contact us by e-mail or phone (e.g. with a trade enquiry), we process your details in order to handle the enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). Our e-mail mailboxes are hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (address see section 3). We delete the data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Links to other websites
Our website links to the shops of our brands (calo-shop.com, urban-forest.de) and to Amazon. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click such a link; their privacy policies apply there.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). Please contact office@kap-3.de.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz), Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany.

For security reasons, this site uses an encrypted connection (https).
